Conditions of Transfer among Faculties 2018

The Ministry of Higher Education will begin to reduce the number of "remittances" for students of the first and second stage on the next Saturday for 3 days, according to the conditions set by the Supreme Council of Universities. The conditions for reducing alienation include the following:

First: Transfer to a Non-Corresponding Faculty

1. A student who has been nominated through the coordination process in a faculty outside or within his geographical area (a) is allowed to apply for transfer to an unrelated faculty in his geographical area In which the educational administration is where the student get the secondary school, provided that the following must be available: 2. The student has obtained the minimum acceptable grades in the faculty which will be transferred to (regularity / enrollment).

Second: Transfer to a Corresponding Faculty

 A student who has been nominated in a faculty outside his / her geographical area (a) may apply for transfer to a corresponding faculty in his / her geographical area only, regardless of the minimum number of grades accepted by the college to which he wants to be transferred / For example, a student from the province of Gharbia has been approved at the Faculty of Engineering ,Assiut University, can transfer to the Faculty of Engineering at Tanta University where it is within the geographical range (A), according to sequence of the student among the students wishing to transfer. In the case of more than one corresponding college in the geographical area (a), a student who has been nominated for a college outside the geographical range (a) is allowed to transfer to the corresponding lower-level faculty in his or her geographical area. For example, five faculties of Engineering in Cairo (Cairo- Ein-Sams- Helwan- El-Matra- Shobra) and the minimum limit for being admitted is (392, 391, 390, 388, and 387). Only the corresponding transfer to the faculty with the minimum limit is allowed according to the order of the student among the students who wish to transfer.

 

 As for the Corresponding Conversion to reduce Alienation at the Faculties which apply System of Attending daily or not, all of the following should be take into account:

First: the first case, If the student is nominated to one of the faculties (regularity) and wishes to transfer to a corresponding college to reduce alienation, then the transfer in this case will be according to  the minimum admission in each of the two systems while transferring between these faculties as follows in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities In case the student is nominated for a faculty (regularity) and wishes to transfer to a corresponding college to reduce the alienation,

 Then, in this case, the transfer is conducted according to the following: - If the student has a total score exceeding the minimum of the total, the conversion is done according to the system (regularity).- If the student has a total score equal to or less than the minimum of the total score of the (directed affiliation) accepted by the faculty to which he wishes to transfer, he will be registered if the transfer is approved according to the system (directed affiliation).

 - Transfers are accepted within a percentage determined by the Supreme Council of Universities at a rate of 10% of the places determined for each faculty and according to the absorptive capacity of the colleges. The Faculty of Urban Planning in Cairo is one of the unique faculties and the conversion from or to it is according to the transfer system for non-corresponding faculties such as the Faculty of Electronic Engineering at the University of Menoufia and the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering and Mining at Suez University, Energy Engineering in Aswan University and faculties of engineering of the other Egyptian universities. The Faculty of Medicine in Ismailia University of Suez Canal is at the forefront of the other medical faculties in the Egyptian universities and is accepted according to the rules of geographical distribution
