As Part of the Faculty of
Specific Education’s preparations scheduled for next Thursday, the Occupational
Health and Safety Administration at Minia University held a practical training
today for faculty members, employees, and students, focusing on the proper
execution of evacuation procedures.
The Session was delivered
by Dr. Walid Hamdi Vice Dean of the General Administration for Safety and Occupational
Health and Mr. Abd El-Rasoul Abd El-Monem Safety and Professional Health
Officer. It included
a live demonstration on how to use fire extinguishers effectively and how to respond
promptly to fires during their early stages. It also covered the formation of rescue
teams and a detailed explanation of each team’s specific tasks and duties.
The training involved the
implementation of practical processes aimed at enhancing rapid response and
ensuring safe movement within the building. These activities were designed to
achieve the highest levels of efficiency and readiness through the execution of
a realistic evacuation plan.
