Minia University
President D. Essam Farahat inaugurated 16 newly developed academic halls at the
level of smart classroom standards, including halls in Faculties of Medicine,
Law, Specific Education, and Al-Alsun, in light of the University’s plan to
transform into a smart fourth -level university and develop its educational
environment in line with the latest global standards.
During the
inauguration ceremonies, the university president was accompanied by Dr.
Mustafa Mahmoud Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hossam
Shawqi Vice President for Graduate and Research Affairs, Faculty Deans, Vice
Deans, Faculty Members, the university’s general secretary, and employees.
The University
President emphasized that these ceremonies mark the first stage of the project to
develop 80 academic halls across all faculties, in accordance with future plan
aim to raise efficiency and quality of all classes and halls at the university
level, stating that other stages will be implemented in all faculties.
His Excellency added that this qualitative leap in the
educational infrastructure supports the university’s plan for full digital
transformation, enhances its academic competitiveness, and provides a learning
environment that enables students to acquire the digital and interactive skills
required by the labor market.
Dr. Essam Farhat emphasized the implementation of effective
mechanisms to maintain the new halls and ensure their safe and efficient use.
This includes providing instructional posters in each hall with clear
guidelines on how to use the educational tools and interactive technologies, in
addition to training faculty members and technicians on the optimal operation
of these systems, to ensure the continued efficiency of the equipment and
enhance the overall quality of the educational process.
