As part of Minia University’s commitment to promoting a culture of innovation and environmental sustainability, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Essam El-Deen Faraht President of University, Prof. Dr. Eman Zaki Mousa Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the University and Dean of Faculty of Specific Education, Prof. Dr. Osama Mohammed Samir Vice Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the University, the Faculty organized the “Create It Green” Competition to encourage creativity, entrepreneurship, and environmentally sustainable solutions among students.

This event was attended by Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Arrej Salam Ali, Prof. Dr. Asmaa Mamdouh Fathi Director of Entrepreneurship Unit Director at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and Vice Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit at the Faculty.

The competition was launched with the aim of providing innovative initiatives and ideas that contribute to protecting the environment and reducing environmental challenges within the faculty that support the university directions toward achieving sustainable development.

The competition results in the winning of

Student/ Aliaa Husseini Mohammed     Second Year in the Music Education Department- who received a certificate of Appreciation and Excellence for her project “Future Tree”

Student/ Aliaa Abdel Aziz    Music Education Department, who received a certificate of Appreciation for her project “Shams Book- Store”

Student/ Esraa Abdel Monem    Home Economics Department, who received a certificate of Appreciation for her project “Raised Cartoon Panels”

The “Minion” team from the Fourth Year, Media Division, Department of Educational Media, also received a certificate of Appreciation for their project “Your Place is Your Responsibility Campaign”, which reflects societal and environmental awareness of the importance of preserving the university environment and promoting positive behaviors among students.

The submitted projects were evaluated by all of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Menisi Director of Marketing and Public Relations Unit at the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the University, Prof. Dr. Yousra AbdAllah Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Asmaa Mamdouh Fathi Vice Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit.
